This is a new series of blog posts about female pop stars who perform on stage or on TV wearing their tall Christian Louboutin boots to complement their outfits.

They do look sexy and they are aware of that as you’ll see from the pictures.

The first post is about the pop diva Christina Aguilera. I love her beautiful voice and I also love her extensive collection of designer shoes and boots.

She probably has a couple of pairs of each Louboutin model ever designed in her closet.

I love stilettos,I love animal skin,and I also love Louboutin designs. So this one is a winner.

Christian Louboutin Wales 120 pumps are made of gray and dark-brown python leather.

The stacked wooden stiletto heels measure approximately 4 inches high (hence the name 120 as in 120mm) with a 1-inch concealed platform.

Naomi Campbell covered Interview Magazine exactly one year ago. She look gorgeous and sophisticated on the cover. Inside,she admits to being difficult and to making, “many mistakes.”

I don’t think I have in certain aspects of my life . . . But I’m trying to do better. I admit to my mistakes. I admit to the things that I’ve done wrong. I admit it. But I’m trying to do right by myself and my life now.”

She always looks very elegant and graceful on the red carpet,on photo shoots,on candid pictures. She has a natural ability to find the right pose and posture within milliseconds and she is very relaxed when in front of the cameras.

Even during the same events,while most other actresses look very awkward and stressful in front of the photographers and display artificial smiles and poses,Renée is always comfortable and playful like a true diva.

I’m also a big fan of her outfits and I love her taste in shoes as well.

I love Lucy Liu and she is one of my favorite girls in the movies.

She always looks very beautiful, elegant and sexy at the same time.

These pictures are from the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 and she looks amazing again.

I love her white dress and Jimmy Choo patent leather nude peep-toe shoes. They are classic patent leather pumps rendered in a curvaceous modern shape with a peep-toe.

Made in Italy and priced at $750, these peep-toe pumps feature a self-covered 5¾-inch stiletto high heel (145mm) and a 1½-inch tall platform (40mm).

Although the platform makes the heel height comparable to a 4¼-inch high heel (115mm), it is still amazing how graceful Lucy walks and poses in them considering her little feet are only size 5.5 (35.5).

These are currently my favorite Lanvin sandals. As you may remember,we have seen Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron wearing the same frame-wedge heels from Lanvin 2011 winter collection a couple of months ago.

Now,these beauties are available for the public,although the price of $1,950 will seriously limit the size of the public who can afford these sandals.

The gold and bronze metallic-leather sandals feature a resin frame wedge heel that is 5 inches high with 0.5 inch platform,a rosette on the front,and an asymmetric square toe.

31-years-old actress Kristen Bell is a gorgeous and quirky girl. She always has a lot of energy and it’s great fun to watch her.

I wanted to share her pictures in her black leather high heeled OTK boots with you.

She was wearing these particular pair of over-the-knee boots quite a lot in 2010 and she was really getting her money’s worth out of them.

She wore them to two ‘Burlesque’movie premieres in Paris and Berlin,and she also attended two late night shows (George Lopez and Craig Ferguson) wearing the very same boots.

When she visited Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,Craig couldn’t help but mention her wearing those boots and called her a “bad bitch“! And she sure showed them off to the audience.

And at Lopez Tonight,George Lopez couldn’t stop touching her booted legs during the interview.

At 5 ft 1 in (155 cm),Kristen is a tiny young lady with tiny size 6 feet,but she sure fills the screen with her energy and her looks. She kind of reminds me of Kelly Ripa –although Kelly Ripa is much taller than Kristin! [Hey,Kelly is allegedly 5 ft 3 in,that is 2 whole inches taller than Kristin! But honestly,I don't think that they are any taller than each other!]

Christian Louboutin Gazolina 140 Suede Calfskin Thigh-High Platform Boots

I love this particular model by Louboutin that comes in two colors:black and coffee.

My favorite color choice is coffee as it is more unique than a pair of black suede OTK boots.

The boots are made of suede calfskin and are a whooping 31 inches tall. This is not a mere OTK but rather thigh-high territory.

They feature a covered 5.5-inch high stiletto heel (hence the 140 in the name for 140mm) with a 1.2-inch tall platform (30mm),a softly rounded toe,a half zipper at the inside of the shaft,a fabric lining (I would’ve preferred a leather one,but oh well), and off course the signature red leather sole.

The initial price for these lovely boots were $2,295,however,right now,they are sold for around $1,800 and lower. A Google search would bring you similar prices,but unfortunately most of the sizes may be sold out by now.

I really love these Le Silla python leather OTK boots.

These sexy over-the-knee boots are made of black snakeskin and they feature 5.1-inch high stiletto heels with 1.6-inch platforms,pointed and slightly accentuated toes,slim and fitted above the knee shaft.

Despite the over 5-inch heel height,the actual walking height is a comfortable 3.5 inches with the help of the double platforms. The main platform is concealed and below that,there is a second mini platform that elevates the boots a little further.

While most other Le Silla leather boots with similar design are priced at around $700,the price of $2,090 at shopbop is ‘reasonable’for these Pitone OTK boots since they are made of real python leather.

Lady Gaga pulled out a pair of her dozens of Noritaka Tatehana platform boots from her extensive and exquisite closet for a photo shoot on Monday,09/12/2011 .
This time blonde Lady Gaga posed outside a studio in NYC,where she has been working with the acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz for a spread in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.
Unusual for the Meatpacking District –but definitely not for Lady Gaga,the pop diva was dressed in all red including her super high heel-less ankle boots,leather gloves, and huge sunglasses.
Towering over her bodyguards,the 5’1″(1.55m) singer posed for the paparazzi and greeted her worshipping fans (or ‘little monsters’) from high above.

These two chain detail ankle boots by Gianmarco Lorenzi are simply gorgeous.
Both of the ankle boots feature a textured surface,almond shaped toes,an exposed zip on the inside,a leather overlay with seam stitch paneling,belt and buckle detailing with metal hardware and chain decoration to the front. The black ones have silver hardware and chain whereas the whisky color ones have gold tone metal hardware and chain.
I like the fact that you can wear the chain either on the back or the front of the shaft.

The materials and the craftsmanship of these Yves Saint Laurent leather knee boots is extraordinary!

These pull-on boots are made of black kidskin leather and they feature 4-inch chunky heels,pull tabs at the top of the shafts,cross-over gold chain-embellished straps at the ankles,and almond toes.

Although the chunky heels and almond toes are not necessarily my favorite design elements on a boot,these YSL boots are so well crafted that I like them.

This blog is about a Turkish celebrity. Her name is Hülya Avsar and she is a well-known actress,singer,TV Host in Turkey.

This 48-years-old entertainer played tennis in the opening game of the tennis tournament in her name. It was the 10th anniversary of this tournament and all revenue is given to a charity that helps children in poverty.

So far, we can see that the peep-toe booties and OTK boots will continue way into 2010-2011 Winter. The stiletto heels and platforms still rule-fortunately for all of us shoe enthusiasts who prefer the thin stiletto shape to the chunky heels. The biggest trend is the nude colors throughout the 2010 SS season. All in all, it is a great time to enjoy many sexy and elegant shoe designs.

John Galliano Spring 2010 RTW Shoes

John Galliano prepared a great collection for Spring 2010 and the shoes of this collection are off the hook.

He uses a lot of lace, satin fabric, beads, feathers to create gorgeously designed platform high heel shoes that are elegant and extravagant.

Fendi 2010 Spring Shoe Collection

The material is fabric in many pastel colors and it wraps the whole foot and the ankles.

The high heels are the same color as the fabric used for the particular pair of shoes.

Zac Posen 2010 Spring Shoes - Cleavage and Peeptoes

Zac Posen has tiny little peeptoes on his Spring 2010 shoe collection, which look interesting and cute in a way.
I like the use of diferent and contrasting colors as well as the use of snakeskin details.

He mixes many forms and colors together to create a great collection. Prada 2010 Spring Ready-to-wear Shoe Collection

It is good news if you are a see-thru shoe enthusiast or you are confident about how your feet look and would like to show them off. In either case, Prada shoes are the right way to go.
Prada’s 2010 spring shoe collection solely comprises of see-thru plastic shoe models. Although I am not particularly happy about the chunky heel style throughout the design range, I love the heel heights and the very pointy-toes in some models. My only complaint is that the use of white Velcro fasteners made some shoes look cheap.

Lanvin Spring 2010 Shoe Collection

Ankle straps, ankle chains, mini platforms and stiletto heels…Lanvin Spring 2010 Shoe Collection is so sexy and elegant.
I especially love the new stiletto heel design. The heel is encased in an acrylic see-thru shell that reveals the gold color metal heel dowel. The interestig design element here is that the acrylic casing does not cover the bottom part of the heel and leaves the tip of the heel exposed. The metal heel rod protrudes out of the see-thru casing like a pointy dagger tip which intends to poke holes into the floor if not only defused by the heel tips.

Terrible News for SS 2010 Shoe Season

Following the excellent and pleasing designs of the summer 2009 with a myriad of gorgeous strappy sandals, peep-toes and summer booties, we were amazed by the beautiful peep-toe booties of the fall season, which were followed by the exceptional over-the-knee boots of winter season.

Great designs by almost all top designers, gorgeous material combinations, sleek silhouettes, the wonderful display of craftsmanship, and the breathtakingly innovative stiletto heels made us feel like we were in a wonderful dream and we never wanted to wake up.

Until the moment of the rude awakening came! I was happily browsing the Internet to see what’s new and upcoming when I got hit with the truth: I saw the Louis Vuitton SS 2010 shoe designs. My God! Then came the second hit from Chanel. Then came the third hit from Alexander McQueen, one of my favorite shoe designers. I was trying to stay positive and optimistic, however, they kept coming: Dior, Miu Miu, John Galliano and Nina Ricci!

One after the other they hit me in my face with their hideous shoe designs for SS 2010, reminding me that I was not in my joyful dream anymore. The creepy designs, the weird material combinations, the disturbing colors, and their unsettling presentation made me feel uneasy. (Check them for yourself)

Now there is one thing that we can do: We should hope that none of these strange designs go to production and see the daylight again and that they stay on the runways as means of attracting the crowds’ attention.

I am also hoping that the other top designers, who still possess a ‘design sense’, will choose to continue the current elegant styles and create beautiful shoes and boots again for the SS 2010 and beyond, which are worthy to be worn and which make us feel good and happy again while wearing them and while watching others wear them.

We have just entered the fall season but the designers have already started to come out with their spring/summer 2010 collections.

Nicholas Kirkwood collaborated with the Rodarte sisters and this collaboration resulted in very interesting shoes for the Spring/Summer 2010 season.

The industrial looking materials such as nuts, bolts, and scrape metal combined with the tribal inspired cut out leather design and sharp studs create a futuristic look for these stiletto heeled sandals, which is sexy and attractive at the same time.

It is a ‘work of art’ and a display of creativity. The Rodarte collection exudes primitivism with a blend of futuristic touch, and Kirkwood’s footwear designs complete this look perfectly.

One word describes it so well: Fierce!

Girls, it is time to go green and save!
Green is not one of the main colors in our collective color plate. I was not sure about going green for fall/winter 2009. Was it too daring?
As I was contemplating the validity of this post during my morning commute, a vision in green captivated my attention. My fellow commuter, the always stylish yet never dull, Ms. Fierce (my personal nickname for her). Wearing a very lovely green python printed pump with a green satin pencil skirt, with a burgundy bag. Yes, she went there and the land was good.
This solidified it for me: Be bold, be adventurous and save money go green!
